Common questions

Does VAULTWORX work with Premiere?

Yes. VAULTWORX now supports backup and restore of supported Adobe Premiere settings, alongside DaVinci Resolve. Check your installed build for the available backup categories.

Can I restore a Mac backup on Windows?

Yes. File paths for LUTs, cache and scripts are remapped automatically, and you'll be asked about anything that can't be mapped.

Does it back up my projects?

VAULTWORX is a settings backup tool. Keep independent copies of your Premiere project files, Resolve project databases and source media; a settings backup is not a complete project backup.

Can I restore only some items?

Yes. Choose individual categories, for example shortcuts and LUTs but not preferences.

Will it work across editor versions?

Check compatibility with your destination Resolve or Premiere version in the release notes before restoring. Keep independent project, media and settings backups.
